Nombuyiselo Matlhodi Mbete

Ms. Mbete is the managing director of NdimLo Cultural Heritage and Innovation Foundation which is mainly responsible for the education and cultural programmes of the Foundation. After graduating with a National Secretarial Diploma at Inanda Seminary in Durban she got employed as a Typist/Receptionist at KwaMashu Polyclinic where she was responsible for the office of the Company Superintendent, also assisting with operating the Switchboard. This being her first work experience helped her develop a lot of patience, empathy & caring for human nature, as she was dealing with mainly sick and generally troubled people.
In 1976 she was honoured to join a then prominent company of attorneys, Justice Poswa & Co., as a Typist/Clerk, which experience gave her insight into the general politics in South Africa and some knowledge regarding the legal world, in particular. From 2005 up to her retirement in 2016 Ms Mbete have been employed at Walter Sisulu University in different offices, the last being the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and Principal as his personal assistant. Her long working years at WSU have greatly contributed to her being a committed, dependable team player who is always willing to handle issues with honesty and confidentiality, where necessary.


Thembakazi Yvonne Petela

Ms Petela is the managing director of Zizo Ezi Foundation and is responsible for the conflict resolution outreach programme. Ms Petela is a dedicated loyal person with massive experience and relate well with people and work well under pressure. She was a personal assistant to the Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa, Ms Mbete and amongst managed her the diary, supervised administrative staff. Ms Petela also supervised household staff and extensively travelled with the deputy president then.


She managed NdimLo Cultural Heritage and Innovation Foundation projects and was a personal assistant to the Speaker of RSA. Ms Petela was also an administrative officer and library assistant of different institution. Ms. Petela has Advance diploma in project management, Diploma in Secretarial practice and Diploma in Dress making and Designing. She also possess certificates in office management, events management, protocol and business etiquette, coaching and mentorship, and property development


Thandeka Precious Collins

Ms. Collins is the office manager in the office of the Former Deputy President under the employment of The Presidency of Republic of South Africa. She assumed her role in 2014. She’s in charge of secretarial administration, office management, household management, financial management, personnel management, event co-ordination and media and communication co-ordination. She is an all-rounder administrator as she has an extensive experience who entered the office profession as a receptionist at Mvelaphanda Holdings.
Her ambition to progress and grow made her to enrol at Birnam College for Secretarial Diploma and immediately applied for a personal assistant position. She worked as a PA to the CEO of A1 Grand Prix from 2005. As a self-motivated and always willing to learn individual she worked close with her senior colleagues to gain knowledge in the company and that saw her being promoted to being the Event Co-ordinator in 2007. In 2009 she was head hunted by her former employer, Mr Tokyo Sexwale to join his team as he was newly appointed as the Minister of the Department of Human Settlements. This was her first introduction into Public sector and she worked double hard to contribute positively in this new space from Private sector. The experience gained from D.H.S assisted a great deal for her progression to another Public sector position at the Presidency of RSA.
